I focus on assisting the development and implementation of sustainable and “best-in-class” veterans support programs and organizations. I am particularly active in issues and trends of importance to current conflict veterans.
Veterans Education
- Assess current support services and programing for student veterans.
- Support student veteran organization programming, activities, and training.
- Counsel veterans on appropriate educational requirements, goals, and available resources.
- Assist strategic planning for supporting student veterans and military community.
- Service-member transition and veterans education/employment training.
Veterans Employment
- Counsel unemployed, underemployed, or barrier to employment veterans on appropriate career path and associated resources.
- Train human resources and hiring managers on current veterans employment trends, best practices, and law.
Veterans Non-Profit Community
- Advise formation of local veterans/military non-profit organizations.
- Assist development of strategic plan and partnerships.
- Assist grant-writing and budgeting for non-profit managers.
- Enhance digital engagement (social media).
